Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026
These terms apply to golf coaching booked with Golf Made Simple, an independent golf coaching business based in West London, run by Craig. They're written to be clear and straightforward — if anything is unclear, please get in touch before booking.
Coaching sessions
Each coaching session lasts one hour. Sessions are individual and tailored to the golfer, based on what's discussed during the free consultation.
Coaching packages
Coaching can be booked as a single lesson or as a multi-lesson package (currently 3, 5 or 10 lessons). Lessons within a package should be used within a reasonable timeframe to be agreed at the time of booking, and are intended for the named participant.
Payment
Payment details and methods are confirmed at the time of booking. Full payment is generally required to confirm a single lesson or a coaching package, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give as much notice as possible so that the time can be offered to another golfer. Reasonable notice (for example, at least 24 hours) allows a lesson to be rearranged without charge; late cancellations or missed lessons without reasonable notice may be chargeable at our discretion.
Lateness
If you're running late for a session, please let us know as soon as possible. Depending on the delay, we'll do our best to make use of the remaining time, but a lesson may need to end at the originally scheduled time so as not to affect other golfers.
Coach cancellations
If a session needs to be cancelled by Golf Made Simple, for any reason, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative date and time or, where appropriate, a refund for that session.
Weather disruption
Golf coaching can be affected by weather. If a session cannot safely or reasonably go ahead due to weather conditions, we'll aim to rearrange it for a mutually convenient time at no extra cost.
Venue disruption or availability
Coaching locations are agreed during your free consultation. Occasionally a venue may be unavailable or access may be disrupted for reasons outside our control (for example, course maintenance or venue closures). Where this happens, we'll agree a suitable alternative venue, date or time with you.
Equipment and club hire
If you don't have your own golf clubs, these can usually be hired for your lesson. Any hired or provided equipment should be used in accordance with reasonable instructions given during the session.
Gift purchases
Golf coaching can be purchased as a gift. Please get in touch to discuss the best option — gift bookings are otherwise subject to these same terms.
Safety, Participation & Liability
Golf coaching involves physical activity, and your safety matters to us. The following applies to all coaching sessions:
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are reasonably fit and able to take part in a coaching session.
- Please let your coach know before a session about any injury, physical limitation or other relevant circumstance that could affect your ability to participate safely.
- If you experience pain, dizziness, significant discomfort or anything else that may affect your safety during a session, please stop and let your coach know straight away.
- Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions given by the coach during a session.
- Participants must comply with the relevant safety rules and requirements of the golf course, driving range or other venue where coaching takes place.
- Participants are responsible for using golf clubs and other equipment appropriately and safely, including any clubs or equipment hired or provided for a session, in line with reasonable instructions given.
Golf Made Simple takes reasonable care in the planning and delivery of every coaching session. We are not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, or resulting from a participant not following reasonable safety instructions, except where the law does not allow this to be limited.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. These terms set out how coaching is provided and do not replace, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for, appropriate business insurance.
Changes to these terms
