Junior Golf FAQ

What parents ask.

Where does the Academy take place?

The Junior Golf Academy runs at Golf SQ, Fulham.

How is the programme structured?

It is a six-week pathway with Saturday and Sunday learning, 12 sessions and 18 hours in total.

How is progress measured?

Children have a baseline in Week 1, progress checks throughout and a final review in Week 6 across putting, around the green, full swing, golf IQ and scoring.

Is TrackMan used?

Yes, when it helps learning. Technology supports games, discovery and feedback — never just the numbers.

How many children are in each class?

Classes are kept intentionally small, with a maximum of 4 children per class. This gives every junior plenty of individual attention while still benefiting from the fun and energy of learning in a small group.

What ages is the Junior Golf Academy for?

The programme is recommended for children aged approximately 6–12 years. If your child falls just outside this age range, please get in touch — suitability depends on their experience, confidence and stage of development.

What level of golfer is the programme suitable for?

The Junior Golf Academy is designed primarily for beginners and early improvers. Coaching is adapted to the children in each small group, so every junior can work at an appropriate level. More experienced juniors are also welcome to enquire, and where appropriate we may recommend personalised 1-to-1 coaching instead.
